|With their installations, visual communication and product designs, the two-man group of artists from Leipzig open up new spaces for reflection and reaction. At MS ARTVILLE 2018, they examine what our chat records say about us – sometimes even more than we wanted to say.
As short as short messages may be, so much more can be read in them: Sadness, anger, disgust, but also joy and ecstasy, tragedy and comedy in equal measure. SCHICK’S #AB, the installation of the Leipzig-based collective #AB, asks for short news – these are printed live on thermal paper and made readable in a stele. A condensation, a characterization, a narrative – in only 140 characters.
